Are you the Energy & CO2 Expert we're looking for?
Are you an expert in (renewable) energy and CO2reduction? Do you want to make an impact by helping companies accelerate their energy transition with innovative and technology-independent solutions?
At Mantis Consulting, we want to help companies build future-proof operations based on energy efficiency, smart operational choices, and green investments. Do you bridge the gap between CO2reduction targets and greening through smart energy management? Then you are the person we're looking for.
Your Role
As an Energy & CO₂ Expert, you are a key figure in making our clients' CO2 reduction targets as concrete and tangible as possible. You conduct carbon footprints and energy audits. You advise companies on energy efficiency, but can also calculate concrete business cases for green technologies ((industrial) heat pumps, geothermal energy, use of residual heat, heat recovery and heat storage, electric (steam) boilers, general electrification of processes, solar panels, batteries, flexibility services, etc.).
- You perform both energy and CO2 calculations for clients in various sectors.
- You compile various data into a detailed CO2 inventory and/or energy balance, identifying the main opportunities for energy efficiency and CO2 reduction.
- You will work with these priorities and develop a concrete action plan for reducing energy consumption and implementing renewable technologies.
- You determine the preconditions and key considerations for integrating the proposed solutions, covering legal, technical, and financial aspects.
- Based on these preconditions, you develop an action plan that considers the feasibility, scalability, profitability, and spatial impact of the proposed solutions.
Your profile
- You have a Master's degree in engineering, energy, electromechanics, or equivalent experience
- At least 3 years of experience in energy engineering, renewable energy, or industrial solutions
- You have in-depth technical knowledge of industrial and energy-producing installations
- You have an analytical mind and can translate complex technical insights into concrete advice
- You can present your advice clearly and to the point report to the client, both in writing and verbally
- You can work independently, but also want to achieve results together with the team and clients
What we offer
- A key role in an ambitious and fast-growing company, where you make a tangible contribution to a sustainable future
- A challenging and versatile role where you contribute strategically and technically
- A competitive salary package with fringe benefits and the option for remote work
