From Obstacle to Momentum
When international hotel chains only buy your mattresses if you can show an EcoVadis score, you have two choices: quickly fill out a questionnaire and hope for the best, or use the momentum to strengthen your entire sustainability approach. Revor Group, a Belgian mattress manufacturer, chose the latter.

About Revor
Revor Group is a Belgian family business that has been producing mattresses, box springs, and sleep systems since 1972. From Kuurne, the company supplies retailers and hotel chains in the Benelux, Germany, and France. With 50 years of craftsmanship, Revor combines traditional expertise with innovation and circularity.
The challenge
No EcoVadis score, initiatives without a structured framework
Sustainability had been on Revor's agenda for years. had already installed solar panels, was working on circular mattresses, and was optimizing waste streams. However, knowledge was too fragmented, documentation was lacking, and no one really had the full picture.
The hospitality sector brought the issue into sharp focus. International hotel chains are increasingly requesting an EcoVadis score: for their own sustainability reports, they need transparent data from across their supply chain. Without a scorecard, your chances of winning a tender are lower.
A first attempt to complete the EcoVadis questionnaire without external support resulted in an insufficient score. It was time for a different approach, now with the right technical and strategic expertise on board.
